The embattled PTI founder has recently faced his second conviction, marking a significant development. In a previous corruption case, he was sentenced to three years, which resulted in his disqualification from the upcoming general elections.

Miller highlighted that the legal proceedings against the ex-prime minister are of utmost importance, and the State Department will respect the jurisdiction of Pakistani courts in handling such cases. He underscored the significance of a democratic system that ensures inclusive participation for all political parties while upholding democratic values.
