Unveiling the New Routes of Islamabad Metro Bus System

Unveiling the New Routes of Islamabad Metro Bus System.A major advancement that is set to revolutionize Islamabad’s public transportation system has experienced a setback as the anticipated arrival of 30 electric buses from China has been delayed due to unexpected logistical hurdles.

The initial arrangements had scheduled the departure of the first group of 30 electric buses from China through a specialized shipping vessel in the near future. Nevertheless, the shipping timetable was disrupted due to the unavailability of the vessel, as revealed by credible sources who are knowledgeable about the situation.

Official assurances have been provided by a liaison with Chinese authorities, outlining proactive steps to accelerate the transfer of cargo to a different ship, with operations scheduled for Thursday.

Despite this obstacle, there is a strong sense of positivity as authorities anticipate the prompt delivery of the initial shipment of electric buses at Karachi port in the next three weeks.Unveiling the New Routes of Islamabad Metro Bus System. Once they arrive, these environmentally friendly vehicles will be assigned to Islamabad, with additional batches expected to arrive over the next two months.

The NRTC commissioned a prestigious global company to handle the manufacturing process, resulting in the acquisition of cutting-edge electric buses.

The operational parameters for the deployment of electric buses across 13 designated routes within the federal capital have been defined under an established agreement between the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and NRTC. NRTC will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of this initiative.

These pathways include important transportation routes like:

The Police Foundation/Orange Line Station is connected to the Old Metro Bus Faiz Ahmed Faiz Station (I-8). Similarly, the Allama Iqbal Station is linked to the Old Metro Bus Potohar Station. PIMS is connected to Secretariat, while D-12 is connected to G-10. F-11 is connected to the Old Metro F-8 Station, and G-11 is connected to PIMS. Aabpara is connected to Taramri Chowk, and Nilor is connected to Khanna Pul. Pirwadhai Chowk is connected to Faizabad, and B-17 is connected to Chungi Number 26. Lastly, I-16 is connected to Chungi Number 26.

This endeavor demonstrates Islamabad’s dedication to promoting sustainable urban transportation. The integration of electric buses into the city’s transportation system is highly anticipated, as it offers a cleaner and more efficient mode of mobility.
