Expressing his sorrow over his father’s arrest, Hammad voiced his concerns about the current state of Pakistan, stating that it has transformed into an authoritarian regime devoid of any respect for human rights or the principles of justice. According to him, the country is being controlled and negatively impacted by Nawaz Sharif and his daughter.

Arrests of candidates associated with the prominent political party persist in Punjab and other areas, as reported by the police. This ongoing situation has raised significant apprehensions regarding the feasibility of conducting elections that are both free and fair, due to the perceived interference of the state machinery.
