Sarfaraz Ahmed, the captain of Quetta Gladiators,A New Era Begins: Rilee Rossouw Appointed as Quetta Gladiators Captain for PSL 9 has resigned from his leadership position, and Rilee Rossouw will now take charge as the leader of the former champions in the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League, PSL9.

Sarfaraz Ahmed made a challenging choice upon the request of the recently appointed head coach, Shane Watson, who arrived in the port city just a day ago.

In the meantime, Quetta Gladiators have designated Saud Shakeel as their vice-captain.

Sarfaraz, an experienced player, captained Purple Force for the initial eight seasons of the nation’s prominent T20 competition. During his tenure, Quetta Gladiators emerged victorious in the PSL tournament of 2019, and also reached the final stage of this esteemed tournament on two separate occasions.

The Gladiators are scheduled to have their inaugural match on February 18 against Peshawar Zalmi at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, with the completion of security arrangements.
