It should be clarified that the biometric verification requirement has been waived for individuals who are over 80 years old and children under the age of 6, as per the ministry’s exemption.

The ministry has further instructed that the pilgrims are required to submit the authenticated email, along with their passport, to the designated bank no later than February 26th. As for overseas Pakistanis, they are advised to send the necessary documents via email to the respective officer.

It is worth noting that the government has already carried out a ballot for the forthcoming Hajj and has also granted permission to individuals who have completed the Hajj within the past 5 years to participate in the Hajj scheduled for June this year.
