PCB’s New Chapter: Evaluating Mohsin Naqvi’s Leadership Potential as Chairman.The composition of the new Board of Governors (BoG) has been announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in accordance with the PCB Constitution 2014 PCB’s .

The current composition of the Board of Governors is as follows:

• Mr Mustafa Ramday, who has been nominated by the PCB Patron.
• Mr Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, who has also been nominated by the PCB Patron.
• Mr Sajjad Ali Khokhar, serving as the President of the Regional Cricket Association AJK.
• Mr Zafarullah Jadgal, serving as the President of the Regional Cricket Association Dera Murad Jamali.
• Mr Tanveer Ahmed, serving as the President of the Regional Cricket Association Larkana.
• Mr Tariq Sarwar, serving as the President of the Regional Cricket Association Bahawalpur.
• A representative from Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL).
• A representative from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
• A representative from Ghani Glass Limited.
• Spokesperson for Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV).
• The ex-officio member, whether it be the Secretary to the Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination, or any other officer designated by him, holds a non-voting position.

On the previous day, Shah Khawar, the interim Chairman of PCB, suggested the formation of the BoG on Saturday.PCB’s New Chapter: Evaluating Mohsin Naqvi’s Leadership Potential as Chairman.

During the press conference, he stated, “My utmost duty is to establish a Board of Governors and conduct elections for the chairman’s position.”

The election of the PCB Chairman is contingent upon the composition of the Board of Governors. If we are able to finalize it tomorrow, we can proceed with conducting the elections within a week. It is important to note that 8 February, the day of the General Elections, does not serve as a benchmark for us.

Furthermore, he stated that the PCB constitution does not prohibit the caretaker chief minister from fulfilling his responsibilities as a member of the BoG. It should be noted that the chairman’s position is not considered a position of financial gain.
