Pakistan’s Ex- interior minister and AML leader, Sheikh Rashid’s Admission to Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology due to the declining health and tense situation.

The individual, aged 73, allegedly experienced unease in his chest, leading the prison authorities to transfer him to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology to receive medical care.

RIC will conduct a comprehensive medical evaluation to determine the level of experience possessed by the seasoned politician.

Medical findings will determine whether he will be sent back to Adiyala jail, according to reports.

The AML leader was apprehended by Rawalpindi police a week ago, following the rejection of his bail plea in the May 9 violence case. He was taken into custody outside the court premises, as his bail application was dismissed in the case filed against him at the New Town Police station for his involvement in the violent incident.
