Stay Informed: Latest Updates on Islamabad’s Rain and Thunderstorm Situation. The Met Office has released a weather forecast that predicts additional scattered rainfall in Islamabad and various regions across the country. Following the showers received on Thursday, the twin cities experienced a cold spell.

Version 1: Islamabad, the capital city, is currently witnessing rainfall due to the impact of a new weather system. The upper regions of the country are being affected by a westerly wave.

The precipitation will provide significant respite from the arid and chilly conditions, as the temperature continues to stay below the usual levels in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and the surrounding regions. This fresh weather pattern will put an end to the thick fog that caused disruptions in both air and road transportation.
